Good cinema. Friendly staff. A little over priced compared to the Vue we used to live near, about double the cost. The seats are in need of replacement - we're more used to the large leather seats with table and drink holder.
Clean and tidy, everything you would expect from a cinema, only issue is people don't pay attention to seating and sit wherever which means forever shifting seats when they are in booked seats

Went to see dirty rotten scoundrels play and it was brilliant. Venue was really nice too and clean. Staff were very friend
It's a little bit unfortunate that this is the best arts/performance venue that Burton has to offer, as... well, i have no idea what it is. It certainly isn't a theatre, it's not a bar, it's just.. weird. The foyer /bar area often puts on local performances, room to hire etc. However, the 'Brewhouse' has no draught beers, cask etc, its all bottles. The performance area is kinda odd too. I went to see a school performance at the main auditorium recently. It's basically a long thin room with temporary seating (although a good rake on it so visibility is good). The 'stage' is flat, the same level as the floor itself, which is the oddest thing i've seen in a venue like this. There's clearly no wing space but it does look like they have facilities for a couple of wipes on tracks etc for scenery cloths. The lighting rig is minimal (too minimal) and whilst is does have lighting and sound boxes at the back, it doesn't feel like a theatre venue at all. I wish Burton had a good theatre venue, but i'm afraid this just isnt it. It's a weird mix between a temporary auditorium and a bar/smaller stage which lacks atmosphere. But, i guess it's the best we've got.
